We tend to get caught up by self-focus, to see our choices and actions as playing the crucial role in obtaining a good life.

As we get busier and busier in making our "good life" we tend to forget that

"...He's got the whole wor-uld, in-his-hands", and the that the complexity of this world's inner workings are far beyond our ability to comprehend. If we take the time to look around us, we can see just how complex and truly awe-inspiring this world system we inhabit is.

"Letting go and letting God" is a real challenge in our modern information age. We would do well to take a step back and marvel at "destiny" unfolding all around us, to allow destiny to swirl around us like a blanket, and to be swirled by it. Watch the patch of earth we inhabit gently pass a day under the sun, and realize in fact, that the earth is literally spinning at 1000 miles an hour. To take your pick and look up or down, left or right, in front or behind, and realize that there is no known end to the universe in any of those directions. To see that all nature's systems are perfectly balanced within it all(forget the gloom and doom of the media). To see in faith that this world is as a ball at play in the hands of God, as Omar Khayyam sang:

'Tis all a Chessboard of Nights and Days

Where Destiny with Men for Pieces plays:

Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays,

And one by one back in the Closet lays.

The Ball no Question makes of Yeses and Noes,

But Right or Left as the Player strikes, it goes;

And He that toss'd Thee down into the Field,

He knows about it all—HE knows—HE knows!
